Regardless of selection(s) you’ll still receive important emails related to your child’s registration and classes.
Text is The Artisan Academy’s preferred way to contact families about last-minute class cancellations or other time-sensitive updates. Less urgent correspondence will be sent by email.
This could be another parent, guardian or caregiver you’d like included as a contact for your child.

Student Information

Tell us a little about the student you are registering.

What would they like me to call them?
This could include learning or communication preferences, sensory needs, neurodivergence, anxiety, mobility needs, movement breaks, or anything else you’d like me to know. You don’t need to provide a diagnosis.
Please include anything that could be relevant while your child is in my care.
No promises, but I create and purchase new patterns all the time so I like to gather a list about what the students are most looking forward to making.
Please provide an emergency contact other than yourself. This can be the Additional Caregiver if you added one above, although when possible we recommend choosing another trusted adult in case you and the Additional Caregiver are both unreachable.
This field will be used as a quick reference for pickup so please list anyone who is authorized, including yourself and the Additional Caregiver/Emergency Contact if applicable. We will only release your child to someone listed here. You can add or remove an authorized pickup person at any time by contacting Rae directly by texting 250-880-7388.
We love celebrating what our students make! Project photos/videos may be shared on The Artisan Academy’s website, social media, newsletter or other promotional materials.
In addition to any consent here, we will always ask your child for their permission before photographing or recording them.
Families registering more than one student receive a 10% discount for each additional registration.

Your child’s registration is only fully completed upon payment receipt. Specific payment instructions will be provided after you submit this form.

Registration Policies

Please review the following policies to finish your registration.

Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy

We want every new student to have a chance to make sure Crochet Club is a good fit before committing to the full semester.

Monday classes: You may cancel up to October 21, 2026. This gives your child the opportunity to attend their first two classes and learn whether this activity is right for them. Please note: there is no class Monday, October 12 due to Thanksgiving.

Saturday classes: You may cancel up to October 19, 2026. This gives your child the opportunity to attend their first two classes and learn whether this activity is right for them.

If you cancel by the above listed deadline, you’ll receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining classes your child did not attend.

After the applicable cancellation deadline, the full semester tuition is non-refundable. This is regardless of the payment option you selected. (The equal payment option simply divides the semester tuition into three payments. It is not month-to-month.)

If your child can no longer attend after the deadline, the remaining registration is transferable to another child. You’re welcome to have a friend or another family take over your child’s remaining spot. Just contact Rae and we’ll figure out the easiest way to make the switch.

Missed Classes & Pickup

There are no makeup classes, credits or refunds for classes missed by a student for any reason. The Artisan Academy has increased its weekly class time by 15 minutes to account for occasional absences.

Please make every effort to pick up your child promptly at the end of class. If you are unexpectedly delayed, your child will remain safely with Rae until you arrive.

Illness

Please do not send a child who is sick to Crochet Club. If you would not send them to a school, sport or care program that day, please keep them home. You do not need to contact us to report an absence.

Scents & Snacks

Please keep scented products to a minimum when attending Crochet Club. Having our space low-scent makes it more comfortable for everyone.

We mostly try to avoid food during class but if your child needs to bring a snack, please choose something low-mess and appropriate for a shared classroom. Students are always welcome and encouraged to bring a water bottle to class.
